The RIDGID pipe wrench is THE plumber's tool. The 14" model is the sweet spot - enough leverage for most residential work without being too heavy to swing in tight spaces. I-beam handle won't flex, the hook jaw self-adjusts as you torque. These things are nearly indestructible. I've got ones that are 20+ years old still working fine. Every plumber needs at least two (you always work pipe wrenches in pairs).
