A Father and Son. 30+ Years of NYC Plumbing.
The Plumber
My father started plumbing in NYC in the early '90s. Apprenticed under old-school plumbers who learned their trade on the same cast iron pipes that are still running water in half of Manhattan's pre-war buildings.
Got his master plumber license and never looked back. Over 30 years, he's worked on everything from studio apartments in the East Village to high-rise buildings on the Upper West Side. Pre-war brownstones in Brooklyn, beach houses in Rockaway, townhouses between 73rd and 88th on the Upper East Side, commercial kitchens, SRO buildings, you name it.
He's the guy who shows up at 9 PM when your heat goes out in January. The guy who fixes an old lady's boiler knowing she can't pay. The guy who has never backed down from a repair or a job that didn't go right. That's not marketing - that's who he is.
The Son Who Built This
I worked with my dad for 10 years. Carried tools, watched him diagnose systems by sound, learned why copper is king in this city and why you never trust a plumber who doesn't understand steam. Every article on this site comes from real knowledge - the kind you only get from decades on the job in New York City.
I built this website because I got tired of seeing bad plumbing advice online. Generic tips that don't account for NYC codes, wrong product recommendations, and DIY guides that'll get you in trouble with the DOB. Everything here comes from real experience on real NYC jobs. My dad's hands, my voice.
NYC plumbing is different. We can't use PEX or PVC for water lines like the rest of the country. Our buildings have pipe systems that are 80, 100, sometimes 120 years old. You need to know what you're looking at, or you'll make an expensive mistake. That's what this site is for.
